User Reviews

  • This is a really useful tool. I don't know why we don't see more downloads. I only need in.smtpd, but it is very small, simple, and exactly what I'm sure many homes and small businesses need for a simple SMTP based mail relay, for people who do not run their own mail service. I have regular machines as thin servers, but this is a great idea to put on small linux-based routers, and hacked linux WAPs and similar. Maintain a simple in.smtpd/ssmtp mail relay for all house/business machines on the router/gateway. Lets you get mail from devices like printers, or cron jobs out to the off-site mail service.
