User Reviews

  • More bugs than a rain forest. Using this application for more than 10 minutes will result in a crash of some kind or the application not responding. This is about the same quality as the official mysql workbench except it only runs on windows.
  • Very unstable and s***ty behaviour! This project has well known problems. Interface is OK, but all the engine is a piece of s***. It crashes several times per day, e.g. when you want to refresh session. When it crashes, putty's plink.exe is still loaded so after a few trials you're running out of free ports in your local machine. It is so unstable, that authors even provided a special panel so you can decide if you want to restart, continue or close application when crashed. It has so many bugs, that even author's webpage is full of workarounds. It cannot interpret function and scripts written in SQL correctly... It looks fine but usage is so poor.... Conclusion: if you want to play, download it. If you want to work - avoid this app in any case!

  • Before heidisql I have used MySQL Workbench, and I must say that heidisql was far more useful, and one of the best piece of software I have used in last 10 years.
