User Reviews

  • Very good and usable project. A lot of work with nights&days spend to do it ... Many thanks. But I improved this package. First I added SDRPlay API ( 3.09.1) and after I updated SDRPlusPlus to have more available modules. Now SDR++ ver 1.1 is more stable and really have a lot of good features including RDS and better DSP. I'm using Mac M1 and this is only one good SDR software to control my different SDR's . Next change I made shortcut on Desktop to start SDR++ server and activated VNC to remote control my RPi which is on a metal box on the roof close to antennas. Average temp of CPU is 50'C and resources are on the level about 35 to 50% with 10MHz wide spectrum with SDRPlay duo. Thanks again and I hope next version will be more advanced with new features and modules. BR, Jackie
  • Each and every update is filled with new and interesting programs to try and evaluate. My RPi4 runs most programs with ease. Some of the SDR apps such as RTL_TCP stutter a little. The WSJTX and GridTracker apps work well.
  • Dave has hit a home run with the HamPi suite! It brings all of the features of DX Lab or HRD , and more to the affordable, hackable Raspberry Pi. It will run on a 3B+, but it really shines on a 8 GB. Pi 4. I run my three overclocked to 1.5 GHz, with a 1 GB zswap file, and all the apps run like a raped ape. Highly recommended for the shack, portable, or EMCOMM use.
