Globe.GL is a web component for building interactive three-dimensional globe visualizations in the browser. It uses Three.js and WebGL to render geographic data on a spherical projection. Developers can display points, arcs, polygons, paths, heatmaps, tiles, particles, rings, labels, and custom 3D objects. Multiple visualization layers can be combined into a single globe. The component also provides controls for the globe surface, atmosphere, camera, animation, and rendering behavior. It is designed for applications such as geographic dashboards, network maps, satellite views, transportation visualizations, and other spatial data experiences.
