User Reviews

  • Great game! Do want to point out, in 1.3.5's player.cpp, the salt characters being on different lines "may" be allowing spaces to appear in the encrypted password, throwing off the structure of the players.dat file and making the client silently not work/load.
  • This is a great IRC service that our users love, and you have to use gcc/g++ 4.2 to compile it, and apply a patch for it to work on systems with gcc-4.3. The patch http://searchirc.com/boards/irc-7767.html is to fix /msg GameServ help crash.
  • Does not compile under Ubuntu Linux 9.10 Karmic Koala, or under Ubuntu 9.04 or Ubuntu 8.10, or Debian Lenny/Sid.
  • A fantastic game that really provides more user interaction than most other IRC RPG games.
  • Of course I like my own project :-)
