A cross-platform ANSI-BBS terminal designed to connect to remote BBSs via telnet, rlogin, or SSH. Supports ANSI music and the IBM charset when possible. Will run from a console, under X11 using XLib, or using SDL.

Qodem is a a terminal emulator that resembles the BBS-era Qmodem. Includes phonebook, scrollback, capture, X/Y/Zmodem, Kermit, ANSI (+ music) / Avatar / VT102 / Linux emulation, Unicode, and keyboard macros. Connects over serial, ssh, telnet, rlogin.

Contiki BBS is a tiny, little and text based bulletin board system (BBS) server for the Commodore 64 homecomputer and a compatible ethernet cartridge (e.g. RRnet, 64NIC+). It will also run in a VICE emulator with ethernet support enabled. The BBS itself can be accessed through a standard telnet connection. Despite a floppy disk drive and the ethernet cartridge no further addon hardware is required (for emulation use VICE with ethernet support).

The Clans was a popular game written for online BBSes back in the day of their great popularity. It is a text-based game featuring inter-BBS communications. It was written initially for Turbo C++, but has been ported to gcc and MSVC

Have your bpq ethernet/wifi connected terminals talk to each other or stations on the radios transparantly. connect from home with KISS-TCP. link your remote AX.25 network segments together with KISS-TCP vpns etc. oh and get a linux terminal login over your normal every day packet radio terminal software. all the stuff that was missing from the start. ;P note that we don't use for /etc/ax25/axports -at all- and think it should disappear as it makes no sense to have callsigns and mtu's and stuff on an interface, in a config file, AND in a program. whatever info is needed should just be obtained from the interface. like with any other protocol stack (you also don't have to put your ip address in your webbrowser, a seperate file in /etc, and the interface) (so there is also no need to install those old ax25-tools - just the kernel suffices)
