Config Doctor is a free MIT-licensed offline Windows utility by ALMARFELD. Inspect UTF-8 ENV, JSON, YAML, TOML and INI; compare normalized keys/types with files or a baseline. v1.1.0 diagnoses simple ENV references and cycles. Values are masked by default. Preview ENV examples and save HTML/JSON/TXT reports to new files. Syntax checks are not schema validation; baseline membership does not prove requiredness. Secret detection is heuristic. Keys/paths remain visible: review reports before sharing. Complex shell expressions are not evaluated. Originals and existing outputs are not overwritten. Windows 10/11 x64 portable ZIP: run ConfigDoctor.exe after full extraction. Separate WebView2 Runtime required, never installed automatically. No uploads, telemetry or accounts. The executable is not Authenticode signed.
