I'm not sure about CC being standard mpeg2 feature: it's stored on mpeg2 userdata and i think the docs i have about the stardard don't mention it. specs says that userdata may be safely ignored by the decoder. So if Michel is going to extend libmpeg2 api i guess he would have to add some kind of callback for "pluggable" userdata decoding. Anyway, Christian's code is weakly tied to libmpeg2 but font handling and other stuff must be very xine dependent. This is just my impression from browsing the code though. regards, Miguel |
