The first instruction sets a register to tell the OS to save all
altivec registers if it does a context switch (I suppose linux will
always save them anyways, but you never know). The second instruction
just touches altivec register v0, so that it gets a fault if that
processor has no altivec support. The %% is just some stupid gcc thing :)

You'll see, it shouldnt be hard to compile at all. The drawback is
that it has no nice features like audio or sync or whatever - but it
serves its purpose well as a libmpeg2 test program.
