[xine-user] jerky dvd playback

Hi All,

I am running FreeBSD 4.3 on AMD 500MHZ , 64MB , DVD 8x , ATI All in
Wonder Pro.

I have XFree86-4.1.0 which has (Accelerated?)Driver support for ATI All
in Wonder Pro.

It is running very jerky.

I have run DVD on same hardware on W98 OS and performance is much
better. So it seems hardware is not an issue or is it.

What's up with UltraDMA on FreeBsd, does it need to be compiled into
standard kernel?

Is the XFree86-4.1.0 ATI ALl in Wonder Pro driver really accelerated?

I would really appreciate if anyone can give me input.
