Category: xine ui Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Marcus D. Hanwell (cryosuk) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Xine-ui uses 100% cpu/locks up on amd64 with scroll lists Initial Comment: Xine-ui uses 100% of the CPU and locks up when trying to scroll through lists in the set up screens on the amd64 platform . This is a long standing bug on the amd64 platform under Gentoo at least, and an existing bug can be found at http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52078. It has been reproduced throughout the last few releases, and is still an issue with 0.99.3. It can be avoided by not scrolling through the lists, and is only resolved by killing off the xine process once it hits. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: pacho (pacho2) Date: 2007-03-03 23:45 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1415829 Originator: NO Still valid for xine-ui 20070303 trunk. Steps to reproduce: 1. launch xine-ui 2. launch options menu 3. go to media 4. select bandwidth drop down menu 5. scroll down using mouse wheel, or click "down arrow" Please, fix this bug thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2005-08-17 12:50 Message: Logged In: NO Experiencing the same problem here on amd64 Debian unofficial release.
