Category: gui Group: v0.99.4 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: stephen mirowski (spmirowski) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Xine UI doesn't prevent gnome-screensaver from starting Initial Comment: Problem: xine ui v0.99.4 doesn't effectively prevent the gnome-screensaver from starting during fullscreen mode. Screensaver will turn off after it goes on, unless a password lock is used, then the desktop must be unlocked. Software: Fedora Core 5 (gnome-screensaver 2.14.3), xine lib 1.1.2, xine ui 0.99.4 How to reproduce: (no screen lock) 1. Enable to screensaver to turn on at a set time (IE 5 min), do not enable locking 2. Start watching DVD in fullscreen (don't touch input devices) 3. Screensaver will turn on at 5 mins 4. After a few seconds, screensaver will turn off (screen lock) 1. Enable to screensaver to turn on at a set time (IE 5 min), do not enable locking 2. Start watching DVD in fullscreen (don't touch input devices) 3. Screensaver will turn on at 5 mins 4. Screensaver will remain on until unlocked with password Expected results: 1. Enable to screensaver to turn on at a set time (IE 5 min), do not enable locking 2. Start watching DVD in fullscreen (don't touch input devices) 3. Xine ui sends commands such as non input keystrokes to prevent screensaver from activating. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=109655&aid=1570889&group_id=9655 |
