Hia all, surprised no-one else has thought of this, I use (not all the time :) aumix, a console based mixer, which allows comand line control (or priity ncurses sliders if no options given ) lets say your ideal xine/dvd vol is 50 and your normal 30 #!/usr/bin/sh aumix -v 50 xine aumix -v 30 that way vol is higher once xine is running, close xine, vol is set back to normal :) btw great work , Xine is kewl -- WiL |
