Category: DVD related problem Group: current cvs version >Status: Deleted Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Tait (taitcyrus) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Expected NAV packet but none found Initial Comment: I'm running: xine-0.99.4-1.2.fc4 xine-lib-1.1.1-1.2.fc4 Under Fedora Core 4. I copied the complete contents of a DVD to local disk (to eliminate any possibility of scratches and such) and when I run xine against this local copy, all plays well until about 1 hour and 20 minutes into the video when it complains and exits with: ----------------------------------- start output input_dvd: Error getting next block from DVD (Expected NAV packet but none found.) audio_decoder: error, unknown buffer type: 04000000 audio_decoder: error, unknown buffer type: 01060000 audio_decoder: suggested switching to stream_id 00 ao_flush (loop running: 1) input_cache: read calls: 11730, main input read calls: 11730 input_cache: seek_calls: 0, main input seek calls: 0 xine_dispose shutdown audio ao_close audio_out: no streams left, closing driver shutdown video video_out_xv: VO_PROP_INTERLACED(0) video_out_xv: VO_PROP_INTERLACED(0) xine_exit: bye! ----------------------------------- end output I even grabbed the latest CVS of xine-lib (which appears to be 1.1.2) and that didn't change the behavior. I do see other bugs reporting this problem, but they seem to have been fixed in previous updates thus this "duplicate". The DVD was generated via Pinnacle Studio 9 and it plays just fine using several different Windows based DVD players. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=109655&aid=1448061&group_id=9655 |
