Initial Comment:
Xine-ui uses 100% of the CPU and locks up when trying
to scroll through lists in the set up screens on the
amd64 platform . This is a long standing bug on the
amd64 platform under Gentoo at least, and an existing
bug can be found at
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52078.

It has been reproduced throughout the last few
releases, and is still an issue with 0.99.3. It can be
avoided by not scrolling through the lists, and is only
resolved by killing off the xine process once it hits.
