Category: gui Group: v0.9.13 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Kacper Wysocki (comotion) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: xine-ui inconsistencies with Xinerama Initial Comment: Hi, xine will by default fullscreen on Xinerama monitor 0 regardless which screen it is actually on. If a xine-ui window is moved to a different monitor, it will fullscreen on that monitor - however, there are serveral inconsitencies with this behaviour: - If a video stream is loaded after the window has been moved to the desired monitor, a subsequent fullscreen action will fullscreen onto monitor 0. - If xine has been fullscreened onto a monitor, say monitor 1, different from monitor 0, unfullscreening it will place the window on monitor 1, but fullscreening it again will fullscreen on monitor 0. Therefore a Xinerama user has to take care to - load the movie first - _then_ move the window onto the desired monitor (regardless of whether the window was already there or not) - and finally fullscreen it every time she desires to fullscreen xine. Furthermore, for some reason fullscreening on monitor 0 blanks other monitors, while fullscreening on other monitors does not blank remaining monitors. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=109655&aid=1210257&group_id=9655 |
