What make the NAV packets beeing embedded as PRIVATE STREAM 2, special? SPU packets are embedded as a sub-stream of PRIVATE STREAM 1, just like AC3 and DTS (can't remeber if that is where SDDS and PCM is too). On the other hand if you intend for all the DVD navigation be be handled in the input plug in, then it does indeed need to get the NAV packets somehow. That migth be done by having it either demux them for it self or sending all "private stream 2" pakcets back to the input plugin (i.e. it's the "private stream 2"/nav decoder). The navigation doesn't really change the subtitles, but rathere the spu decoder must know what region to highligh, if the subtitle is turned on or off and what (pts) time it is. --=20 H=E5kan Hjort, trying to catchup on mail d95...@dt... |
