https://bugs.xine-project.org/show_bug.cgi?id=399 Summary: /var/tmp/xine-mozilla-plugin-buildroot/usr/lib not created during rpmbuild compile Product: xine-plugin Version: 1.0.2 Platform: i386/x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: Main AssignedTo: xin...@xi... ReportedBy: sch...@gm... Created attachment 243 --> https://bugs.xine-project.org/attachment.cgi?id=243 This attachment is a cut-and-paste of the complete terminal output to a text-file. I first downloaded this bz2-compressed tar archive, and attempted to build both binary- and source-RPMs using the following command: rpmbuild -ta *.bz2 After receiving the error-message stating that the gz-compressed tar archive does not exist, I converted this archive into a gz-compressed one using the following commands: bunzip2 *.bz2 gzip *.tar Then, I attempted to once again build the binary- and source-RPMs using the following command: rpmbuild -ta *.gz The configure process completed successfully and the build process began; however, the build failed with the following error-message: RPM build errors: File not found: /var/tmp/xine-mozilla-plugin-buildroot/usr/lib/xine-plugin/xineplugin.so Upon my search for the above file, I discovered that no lib directory even existed within the above path. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.xine-project.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
