I am not aware of any parts of the xine code base that cannot be distributed here. I do not believe the xine project has ever even been approached by patent holders making claims. I would therefore vote against such a move to break the code into multiple parts for some arbitrary reason. It just makes the code base more difficult to manage and update. Kind Regards James |
