Hello, I am having some problems, and I am not sure what I need to do to help debug this issue. When I play .MP4 files in xine (using the following command: xine --autoplay=fhq nameoffile.mp4), The movie I have ripped plays fine if I don't touch anything. But, as I skip around the movie by pressing CTRL-4 or CTRL-7, xine appears unresponsive, and eventually after I skip around the movie some 6 to 8 times, xine will lock up. The frame it froze on is visible, but no amount of alt-tabbing or anything will get me out. A simple CTRL-ALT-F2, and I can get in and kill the xine process, and then relaunch the movie, and I can duplicate this with any .MP4 container I have. No matter where I skip, after skipping forwards or backwards about 8 to 10 times, xine locks. The .MP4 Containers contain, x264 encoded video and CBR MP3 Audio. I am running Fedora Core 5, (I had the same problems on FC4, so I formatted my machine, and installed FC5 hoping that would fix it). xine-0.99.4 xine-lib-1.1.1 x264-compiled June 7th 2006 Let me know what I need to do to help debug this issue. Thanks, Nate |
