[xine-user] API: appending Quicktime clips

I've installed xine and xine-lib on my Gentoo box. I need to write some code 
that will take some small Quicktime clips and combine them into a single 
output file, but I haven't yet been able to find any docs on the API. 

Could anyone point me to some documentation?
