Okay so, it was already discussed to move away from CVS to something else. = A=20 proposed alternative was subversion, as SourceForge now provide the=20 repository itself. But I'm now wondering if git would suit better our needs, considering that = it=20 might be worth to have branches to work with (and in git are cheaper than i= n=20 svn, and easier to resolve conflicts with), and allowing externals to have= =20 their own synced branch with patchset (I would use one for gentoo patches f= or=20 instance). I can inform myself on the conversion procedure, and all that's needed to h= ost=20 the repo is a ssh server where to push the stuff to (SF's is fine), the=20 anonymous access would be via pure and simple HTTP, a webinterface can be=20 easily configured (gitweb).
