I've mentioned this elsewhere: it appears that -finline-functions shouldn't
be used since "it's a pessimisation". In terms of getting xine-lib to be
compilable with gcc 3.3.5, I agree.

Are there any objections to my replacing all occurrences of
-finline-functions in configure.ac with either -fno-inline-functions or
(preferably) a shell variable which normally has that value?

If not, I'll commit the change tomorrow.
