I have tried to use the Linux Trace Toolkit. They have a good framework
for collecting data from the kernel which works fine. There is a new
userspace collection method but so far I have not gotten it to work. It
is my intent to get this to work so I can start testing some of the
video plugins. I would appreciate the help if your interested.
