Just an Athlon 2400+... that's why it surprised me when I used tvtime via chain reaction. I'd read that those settings were CPU intensive, but (once I turned "regular" deinterlacing off) it worked well. I've added tvtime repeatedly via chain reaction and as far as I can tell, I have everything set as described.
