At present it seems like we have a few bugs/features left to me taken care of: -------- xine-lib -------- 1) Miguel's blue screen problem. Anyone with a x.org X server setup using a ATI Rage, Intel or Matrox G450 cards please contact miguel if you can reproduce the blue screen problem. To reproduce: 1. Run xine and play a video 2. Does it show a blue window isntead of the video? 2) DVD MRL changes still need work. There are more listed on the xine-bugs list. From a practical standpoint I am not sure if I should be trying to remove all those from the bugs list before a release or not. My initial belief is that we should not. Which ones are ones to be done before release? So far I am not seeing a whole lot from the mailing list (xine-devel) that says we should hold back the release very long. I don't know what everyone's schedule is like but how does a September 15 target release date sound? This should allow a bit time to clear out the two bugs above. I will start to go past item #1 on the release list. Let me know if there is anything else to consider. Stephen -- Email: st...@to... |
