Fortunately, you can make a plaintext playlist, e.g., playlist.txt: /home/foobar/movies/file1.mov /home/foobar/movies/file2.avi .. .. and then get xine to play it with the -P (capital 'P') switch: xine -P playlist.txt You can use the find command to generate playlists. For example, I have a bunch of Quicktime movie trailers organized in alphabetical directories. a/, b/, c/, etc. To gather them all up: find /home/melanson/media/trailers -name *.mov > trailer.playlist xine -P trailer.playlist Hope this helps... -- -Mike Melanson |
