In version 1.2.6, you > cannot use raw devices and the title key cache together. The raw reads > will fail. I'm using 1.2.6. But I had the same problem when I uninstalled libdvdcss. I tested ogle today. It crashes with a similar errormessage: libdvdread: Using libdvdcss version 1.2.6 for DVD access libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256 libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256 libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256 libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256 libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256 libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256 libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256 libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256 libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256 libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256 libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256 libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256 libdvdread: Can't open file VIDEO_TS.IFO. ERROR[ogle_nav]: faild to read VIDEO_TS.IFO Without libdvdcss the first line says: libdvdread: Encrypted DVD support unavailable. But it still won't work. ogle however is able to play the copy of the disc which resides on my harddrive without trying to read from the dvd... So there is a difference.. (Playing with "ogle /Multimedia/dvdtest/"). Regards, Henning Kulander |
