Did you build Xine from source? Apparently you have libfame 0.9, which Xine does _not_ support. Definitely explains the output you describe. Though I wouldn't use libfame anyway, its output quality is pretty weak. librte is much better, but you need an 0.4.x version of librte installed when you build xine-lib for it to work. > libfame 0.9.0 Copyright (C) 2000-2002 Vivien Chappelier There's the version. As I said, libfame 0.8.x and/or librte 0.4.x, though librte's quality will be markedly better.
