It's odd that some players can read the > stream correctly while others have issues with it. It's not exactly non-standard, but the multiplexed chunks in the file are extremely big (32k) and do overrun xine's buffer size (8k). I modified xine's MPEG demuxer to break the data up into 8k pieces. It takes xine some time to find the necessary headers in the file, but it finally plays the video. xine doesn't decode the audio though. Maybe some MPEG expert is reading this and could have a look?
