Hi Daniel, at first, thanks for this nice help dialog. Terrific thingy! This really has the power of reducing user questions on the lists. During my writing of xine-ui end user documentation, I accumulated what I hope to be usability improvements. Patch is attached for you to review. * I did not document the keymapping, but rather resorted the entries in keymap dialog to a more logical order (important stuff on top, similar things close together) and renamed some of them slightly. * I also changed the default keymapping for the 0% to 90% seek keys from Meta3-[0-9] to Ctrl-[0-9], since that is easier to type and was still free. * I slightly moved some items in the menu and added some more separators, where I thought they looked better. I also added a new menu entry in the "Menus" menu to open the event sender panel. Would you accept this patch? Michael -- "At the beginning of the week, we sealed ten BSD programmers into a computer room with a single distribution of BSD Unix. Upon opening the room after seven days, we found all ten programmers dead, clutching each other's throats, and thirteen new flavors of BSD." |
