Hi again, answered only half the mail, so here is some addition: > does anyone know why there is no xvid plugin in 1.0.0 version? AFAIK noone cared to update it to xine's internal changes. It should be redundant anyway, since the ffmpeg decoder can handle xvid. > and is there any development guide on how to use the xine-lib API? The xine hacker's guide (http://xinehq.de/index.php/hackersguide) provides some insides into the architecture. It is a bit outdated, but still explains the internal mechanisms quite well. The public libxine API which frontends should use is documented by commentaries directly in the xine.h file. Michael -- "At the beginning of the week, we sealed ten BSD programmers into a computer room with a single distribution of BSD Unix. Upon opening the room after seven days, we found all ten programmers dead, clutching each other's throats, and thirteen new flavors of BSD." |
