Don't know what the Go back" meant. When cliked it simply displayed an FTP directory, in which alpha1 was present, but not alpha2. In any case, the problem gone. But another has arisen. After getting rid of xine-lib and libdvdnav, I configured, and then compiled: # make cd . && \ /bin/sh /opt/multimedia/xine/xine-lib-1-alpha2/missing --run automake-1.6 --gnu Makefile configure.ac: 834: required file `./_AM_File,.in' not found configure.ac: 834: required file `./[$2],.in' not found configure.ac: 834: required file `./[$3])].in' not found make: *** [Makefile.in] Error 1 In the source directory I have: # ls -l Make* -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 19043 Dec 3 10:38 Makefile -rw-r--r-- 1 brownh brownh 1573 Nov 4 05:07 Makefile.am -rw-r--r-- 1 brownh brownh 18389 Dec 3 10:39 Makefile.in Are these the three files it is trying to find? I don't see where "2" and "3" are defined. I'm using automake-1.4, but there's a symlink to it from "automake". Haines Brown |
