hopefully exactly as many as necessary for 1.0, of course ;)

but feel free to propose a roadmap. what i know for sure is that there
are certain things that need to be done and/or fixed before the final
1.0 release, e.g.:

- documentation (especially the hacker's guide but also the rest of 
  the documentation could need some improvements)

- remaining bugs (i noticed some new bugs in xine lately but didn't have
  time to investigate this further, e.g. real streaming support needs
  some work as stream end detection seems to be broken and of course
  the trouble with cook audio - and gxine still hasn't gotten it's logo
  back)

- status of the new bugtracking system? a good bugtracking system would
  really help getting to 1.0 in a well-defined way

actually i intended to add the macros only. after that developers can
slowly start to use them as they wish
