When the win32 port was started long ago we used it because it allowed to have a readily available and full-featured GUI on Win32 as well. Unfortunately lots of users complained about the fact that the GTK gui didn't use the win32 native look and feel. Other issues have also made us change our mind and we switched to wxWindows instead of GTK (wxWindows uses GTK under linux). -- Gildas |
