James: Thanks for the response.... I think the key term here is "Interlaced" AVI files, not just MJPEG. My DC10+ Video Capture card used in conjunction with MJPEG tools produces interlaced MJPEG AVIs when the resolution is set to 640x480. I was told several months ago by someone on this list that Xine did not support Interlaced AVI files, since when attempting to play a file of this kind, Xine segfaulted (Xine would play non-interlaced 320x240 MJPEG AVIs fine however). I haven't tried it recently, so maybe this was fixed? I am using Xine-0.9.13 Compiled from source on a variety of RH platforms 7.2, 7.3 and 8.0.... Maybe this issue is fixed in the current version of Xine, as I haven't tried for a while (probably not since 0.9.9). BTW, kudos to the Xine team for an excellent product....
