First of all, my congratulations on your architecture for Xine.. it seems quite neat. If (using the binary nvidia drivers), you open /dev/nvidiaX, and then call poll() on it, you will receive a POLLPRI event every VSYNC. For systems using a single head of one of these cards, this would be an ideal way to synchronise the vo_xv plugin to the vsync. Problem: If you use both heads of the card (as I do, one for an LCD, and one for my TV), you unfortunately get all the vsyncs for both heads with no way of differentiating them. I'm investigating this further. Does anyone know if there is any information on the IOCTLs supported by the nvidia binary drivers? I can see from the parts that they release as source, that there are other ioctls within the binary part. -- adq |
