Ok, so I had done all the necessary stuff in order to get .wmv files to work. I've upgraded from Xine-0.9.8 to Xine-0.9.13 and I have downloaded all the necessary files to get the files to run. Like I downloaded the win32 codecs and the required shared libraries. And actually, some of the files of that format I got to run just fine! But there's one that I still try to get to work, but gives me this error in the command line: demux_asf: title : Three 2 One demux_asf: author : JasonGuy.com demux_asf: copyright : His and Her Production demux_asf: comment : audio_out: stream audio format is 32000 kHz sampling rate, 16 bits. mode is 8. audio_oss_out: ao_open rate=32000, mode=8, dev=/dev/dsp audio_oss_out: audio rate : 32000 requested, 32000 provided by device/sec audio_oss_out : 2 channels output audio_out: output sample rate 32000 demux_asf: demux loop starting... audio_out: thread created Loading DLL: 'divxa32.acm' w32codec: Audio buffer min. size: 278528 w32codec: Recommended source buffer size: 1920 w32codec: init Direct Show video codec... metronom: audio discontinuity #3, type is 2, disc_off 450000 metronom: waiting for video_discontinuity #3 Loading DLL: 'wmv8ds32.ax' Using DirectShow codec: wmv8ds32.ax Decoder supports the following YUV formats: YUY2 IYUV UYVY YV12 YVYU I420 YVU9 Decoder is capable of YUV output (flags 0x7f) video_decoder: new pts 450000 metronom: video discontinuity #3, type is 2, disc_off is 450000 metronom: video vpts adjusted with prebuffer to 1089489 w32codec: increasing source buffer to 140715 to avoid overflow. w32codec: increasing source buffer to 143270 to avoid overflow. w32codec: increasing source buffer to 143336 to avoid overflow. w32codec: increasing source buffer to 145739 to avoid overflow. ... metronom: audio vpts adjusted with prebuffer to 1089714 w32codec: increasing source buffer to 16384 to avoid overflow. w32codec: stream convert error 512, used 0 bytes w32codec: stream convert error 512, used 0 bytes w32codec: stream convert error 512, used 0 bytes w32codec: stream convert error 512, used 0 bytes w32codec: stream convert error 512, used 0 bytes w32codec: stream convert error 512, used 0 bytes w32codec: stream convert error 512, used 0 bytes ... demux_asf: end of data demux_asf: end of data demux_asf: unknown segtype 0 demux_asf: end of data demux_asf: end of data Segmentation fault Is the problem just the codecs themselves or is it the video file that's the problem? - Jon Gall |
