Hello, I was thinking that something a bit more "generic" than /usr/lib/win32 could be used. I would love to see something like ~/.xine/addons and $(libdir)/xine/addons being scanned as well. Or maybe a configurable path. Front-ends could then just say "drop your .dll and real .so in there". It's pretty important that people can enhance xine without being root, or creating dodgy directory structures (Real Player installs in ~/RealPlayer/ for example).
