[xine-user] XINE does not start (bash: xine: Command not found)

maybe someone can help a newbie with the following problem:

- I am using Suse Linux 8.0
- I have downloaded xine0.9.10.tar.gz (lib and ui)
- I have compiled and installed (./configure and make install) the lib =
and ui successfully (?)=20
- but when I try to start xine out of the bash I just get the message: =
"command not found"

Has someone an idea why I can't start the player?
I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall the software... no =
success.

I am happy for every hint.
