Hi, Can anyone help me with some very strange problems? I've upgraded to xine 0.9.9 and now everything thats of a resolution lower than 704x416 appear in shades of green - the first file I played when I launched xine had normal colours for about 1 or 2 seconds. After that the picture goes green, except for a bar at the bottom of the screen that flickers between normal and green. This happens with all the files I've tried (divx3 divx4 mpeg) that are around this size. Another avi file I have which I encoded with xvid, has some frames green when I play it (about 1 every 10 seconds) but for the most part shows in the correct colors - that one is encoded at 512x288, but I have another version of it which is encoded with exactly the same software and settings, but at 704x416, and it's displayed fine. Anything of greater resolution, like DVD's, display fine The colours were fine with xine 0.9.8. The computer is running Xfree 4.2.0 with the gatos ati.2 cvs devel drivers (so I can use tv-out). I've got another computer with an nvidia card with the same version of xine and xfree on it and it displays the videos in the proper colours. I've attatched the output from xine for the first avi I tried - you might also notice that some frames are dropped, I cannot figure out why - the cpu has plenty of more grunt left before it should start dropping frames. And my third problem with these is the audio - if I pause or stop the video - the audio continues to play - the longer I've been watching the video the more audio seems to be in the buffer, some times I have to wait over a minute for it to play out. I have always had these last two problems on any version of xine I've tried on both my machines. Any help would be much appreciated. Chris -- Chris Jensen ch...@dr...
