Hi, I was not active recently due to building a kitchen - I will never do something like that again :) I tried to compiled the xine-lib snapshot and encountered lots of syntax error reports from gcc (version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)) addressing a problem in the comments. It seems to hate the // comments. After a little bit of digging in the compilerflags I found the -std=gnu89 to be responsible and commented it out in the configure.ac file. After that it compiled fine. Maybe this is a gcc3 / gcc2 issue since I think that you use gcc3 to compile current version. Let me know what was wrong. Regards Frank |
