I can use dvbstream piping through ts2pes into mplayer to watch TV, but when I try it with Xine it either complains of a corrupt stream or displays a nice black screen. I don't know, but it's possible that Xine is less tolerant of bad MPEG2 streams than mplayer is, and bad MPEG2 streams are a frequent occurance when you get reception glitches and your network card bullies in on the system bus like mine does. |
