Hello, I have xine running on a RedHat 7.1 (2.4.2-2 kernel) system with an H+ decoder card. VCDs work fine when I play them using the dxr3 plugin, so I know the card is working, but when I try to play encrypted DVDs I run into problems. I have captain_css, libdvdread, libcssread, dvdnav and the dmd plugins installed. When i run xine -Vdxr3 d4d://VTS_01_0.VOB it gives me: xine_play: xine open d4d://VTS_01_0.VOB, start pos = 0, start time = 0 (sec) input_d4d : input_plugin_open media type correct. file name is VTS_01_0.VOB input_d4d : openDVDFile >VTS_01_0.VOB< input_d4d: could not read copyright struct input_d4d: unable to find >VTS_01_0.VOB< on dvd. xine: cannot find input plugin for this MRL and for dmd: xine-panel: PLAY xine_play: xine open dmd://VTS_01_0.VOB, start pos = 0, start time = 0 (sec) css error: ioctl_ReadCopyright failed, make sure DVD ioctls were compiled in Make sure you have a DVD movie in your DVD Player ? xine: cannot find input plugin for this MRL dvdnav gives me the following: ogle_open: Starting VM... libdvdcss error: css error: ioctl_ReadCopyright failed, make sure DVD ioctls were compiled in libdvdcss error: css test failed libdvdread: Can't open /dev/dvd for reading. vm: faild to open/read the DVD xine -Vdxr3 d4d://VTS_01_0.IFO doesn't do anything either, but give me css errors. Does anyone know what my problem is? Is my card set to the wrong region, or is it a problem with css or what? Thanks, Pablo -- ------------------------- http://www.pablojones.com ------------------------- |
