[ CC to Jaroslav for your information/comment ] Hi all, Just a heads up - latest ALSA 0.9.x cvs defines it's version information as follows: #define SND_LIB_MAJOR 0 /**< major number of library version */ #define SND_LIB_MINOR 9 /**< minor number of library version */ #define SND_LIB_SUBMINOR 08 /**< subminor number of library version */ Unfortunately, the xine configure check for alsa version fails with numeric constant contains digits beyond the radix as '08' isn't valid octal. I guess this is really more of an alsa issue than a xine one - 08 not being valid constant. I just worked around it by dropping the leading 0 in the alsa header file (/usr/include/alsa/version.h), as it didn't seem to be needed.
