No, that is not a typo. :-/ Let me set this up for you: I have a Matrox Marvel G400-TV, which I'm using to put my display on my TV. When I run xine on a .mpg, I get video but no audio -- that is, no audio from the TV. The audio itself is apparently getting generated fine; I can plug a pair of headphones into my sound card's line-out jack and hear it, intermixed with audio passed through from the TV input. It's just not getting sent on to the TV. Now, other programs, like lavplay from the mjpegtools package, work fine in this regard, so my hypothesis is that there's some bit of internal audio setup that lavplay is doing and xine isn't, or that I need to tell xine to do somehow. Is there something I've missed? -sbigham |
