It would be nice indeed...
I guess this has something to do with the fact that Linux does not natively
support threads: threads we see with top or ps are in fact processes, probably
generated with "normal" fork calls within libpthread (?).
If you know how to change a child's process name after a fork... you can maybe
add pthread_setname_np to libpthread!
