This brought me here where I see that there is now activity on this project thought to be dormant.
The problem is that there is also at least 2 active project pages for WinMerge on bitbucket.org:

https://bitbucket.org/winmerge/
This is totally confusing for poor users like me.
Please clarify, if possible, what is going on and if the two (or more) projects will be merged back into one.

Currently the next release of WinMerge is developed at https://bitbucket.org/winmerge/winmerge.
WinMerge 2011 has many wonderful features. However, you will find greatly differences of source code by comparing WinMerge 2011 source and WinMerge source code. Also development direction is also different. So I think that it is difficult to merge back into one.
