thanks for your kind offer! Any help with coding and testing is
appreciated.
About timetables: we don't have those. 2.0 is a good release, there is
no hurry with 2.1.
We are using SourceForge's (http://sourceforge.net/projects/winmerge/)
forums and tracker items for communicating between developers. It's
good place to discuss about development. Or to ask help in
understanding code or whatever (related to winmerge). :)
You can look at bug- and RFE-lists if there is something you could
fix/implement. There are some (almost) trivial items too. When you
found item you think you could work with, please add comment to that
item. Or you can ask for more information, hints for implementation
etc.
And of course if you can add your own RFE too. This does not mean you
cannot do changes which are not bugs or RFEs. If you want to clean up
some messy code, fix typo or something, its waste of time to add bug or
rfe items about things like those. Just submit patch with a short
description.
When you have some code ready, submit it as a patch to SourceForge.
Best way to create a patch is to put original and changed files into
one zip-file. Other developers can then look at your changes and apply
to CVS.
Hope this helps! If you have more questions, please submit them to
developers-forum. (http://sourceforge.net/forum/?group_id=13216)
Regards,
Kimmo
