Ok, that's kind of expected - the list of visible modules is only updated when you refresh, so if PostgreSQL wasn't installed when Webmin was, this can happen. |

On the first, yes indeed: "Do strftime substitution of backup destinations?". My bad. Does the PostgreSQL module not support the %Y%m%d "macros" in the "Backup files directory" field? This works beautifully for MySQL backups and is very convenient. Also ... It took me a while to figure out why the PostgreSQL module did not show as active, installing the correct Perl module did the trick. But what's interesting is that when I clicked on it, under unused modules, it could talk to PostgreSQL just fine. It just showed me a warning that backups could not be made due to a missing Perl module. Perhaps that handling could be improved. -joho |

Here is an odd, but small bug when using Usermin Mail: When you hit "reply", normally a "re:" appears in the subject line. This happens, but not always. If the subject starts with "re" (capitalized or lowercase), the "re:" for the reply does not appear! If I were to guess, there is a test case for whether or not there is a reply, and to only place the "re:" if "re" is not already there. Maybe test for "re:" as whether or not to apply an "re:" for the subject line? That's just a guess on my part, though..... -Mike |

Please try again now - I mistakenly didn't upload the 2.013 files after announcing the release. On 20/Jan/2023 05:28 Buchanan, Ted <tbu...@vi...> wrote .. When I clicked on the Webmin folders, 1.979 was the latest folder I could see. I see the same thing now. Now when I go to https://webmin.com it shows 2.013 is available but when I click on the RPM link, it takes me to https://sourceforge.net/projects/webadmin/files/ and the latest file is listed as 1.851. I first noticed a problem when in the Webmin interface on one of my Oracle 8 linux servers. It said an update to 2.012 was available but when I clicked to update, it gave a 404 error. Then when I clicked the link http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/webadmin/webmin-2.013-1.noarch.rpm, it took me to https://sourceforge.net/projects/webadmin/files/ and the latest version was listed as 1.979. I do see a folder for 2.013 but no files within. This is with Firefox from a Fedora 37 workstation. Same thing with google chrome. Yesterday, the folders eventually populated and I was able to manually download 2.012 successfully. A menu being there doesn't bother me....the fact it is permanently open bothers me. It's a complete mess, with sloppy formatting. Point #2 - it's already done on another theme (permanently open) - why would that be repeated here? The point of the Frame theme, from what I understood, is for it to be minimalistic. i.e. similar to the original Usermin theme. Point #3 - shouldn't interfaces be flexible to allow users to do what they want? Another thing I noticed, but perhaps there is a setting I am missing, is that it seems that users were able to select a theme at one point under Languages & Themes. On my system, Usermin now only allows a language to be selected. The best we could do is to add an option to hide the mail tab .. but this is a very unusual request! Why is the left menu for mail bothering you in the first place anyway? But then you cannot read mail at all......I just want that obnoxious list of folders removed from the left. The Authentic theme already does this.....
